Can you explain Frank Churchill's character in Emma?

Okay, well, in Adv. English we are studying Emma and I haven't read it which would be fine except that tomorrow I have to read Frank Churchill's part in a mock play/picnic thing of the Boxhill scene and I need some basic knowledge of who he is in the story.
