Inspiron 560...is this a good computer for recording gameplay? other suggestions?

I have pretty much no knowledge when it comes to computers...I enjoy recording gameplay off my dazzle but my laptop doesn't seem to give enough juice I need to get any good quality out of it...I try 720p HD but no matter what my laptop just isn't strong enough to keep good frames...I know the dazzle isn't that good but neither is my laptop..i aint rich so I would try to get a good price HD pvr but also a good price computer..so is the Inspiron 560 any good?If not what then? I don't know of a good budget for a computer now...maybe about $500?
